Monday, November 1st at 7:00 PM - Tickets: $20 - Latin Grammy Award and Spanish Independent Music Award winning master guitarist/vocalist/composer TWANGUERO (Diego Garcia) from Spain (now living in Los Angeles), takes you on a solo musical journey through the backroads he has traveled through in the Americas, from U.S. cities to Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and more. His style is a unique, intriguing blend of Latin music/Flamenco/rock/folk and his signature "Latin Twang", for which he's known all over the world. His solo cd "Backroads, Vol 1" ("Carreteras Secundarias") won the prestigious Spanish Independent Music Award in 2018. He has just completed a European and Costa Rican tour in celebration of his new solo cd project, "Backroads, Vol 11".

Santa Cruz Shoestring Players Saturday, November 13th 3pm and 7pm $20 tickets MTI's All Together Now! - A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre is an opportunity for theaters around the world to locally produce and perform an exclusive musical revue featuring songs from MTI's beloved Broadway shows. MTI has made this production entirely free-of-charge to license with no royalty or rental fees in an effort to assist with the recovery of the arts. So far, this show has been licensed by over 2,300 schools and theaters in all 50 states and 44 countries, and all of these performances will take place in the same four-day period across the world! Santa Cruz Shoestring Players presents All Together Now! as a fundraiser for CPAC. The cast of more than a dozen will perform well known favorites from Broadway Productions such as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Fiddler on the Roof, Les Miserables, Into the Woods, Guys and Dolls and so much more!

Art Workshop - CREATING PORTRAITS AND LANDSCAPES USING SUGGESTIVE BRUSHWORK - Instructor: David Simons - Dates: November 17, 18,and 19, 2021 - Time: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (bring a sack lunch) - Fee: $400, Early Bird Special $370 if paid in full by October 20, 2021 - This workshop we will focus on : How your painting can transcend the subject, Seeing with the painter's eye, Strengthening value relationships. As always, David will guide you step by step to create two to three paintings. A demonstration will be done each morning and individual instruction will be given to each student while they paint in the afternoons. He will address which colors to apply during each step, thickness of paint applications through each step, using different planes of brushes, auditioning colors, and most importantly seeing layers of brushstrokes.
