STILLHOUSE JUNKIES - Progressive Roots, Bluegrass - Sunday, April 3rd at 7:30 PM - Tickets: $20 - From Durango, CO, Stillhouse Junkies play a delirious, head-spinning mixture of original roots, blues, funk, swing, and bluegrass music. With all three band members sharing vocal duties and swapping instruments, the Junkies conjure a wide range of tonal landscapes that pay tribute to the iconic sounds of Gillian Welch, the Allman Brothers, Tim O'Brien, the Wood Brothers, John Hiatt, and countless others while breaking new musical ground with their genre-bending original material. Stillhouse Junkies are proud to be Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival showcase artists and 2021 IBMA World of Bluegrass showcase artists. The band is comprised of Alissa Wolf (vocals/fiddle), Cody Tinnin (vocals/bass), and Fred Kosak (vocals/guitar/mandolins).

Instructor: Charles Thomas - Dates: April 13 and 14, 2022 - Time: 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM (bring a sack lunch) - Location: Patagonia (Directions provided before the workshop) - Fee: $285, Early Bird Special $260 if paid in full by March 16, 2022 - In this two-day class we will cover the essentials of what goes into a successful outdoor location painting and how to arrive at a composition that gets to the essence of the scene rather than recording it verbatim. Students will be taught mapping values; choosing colors; paint handling; edges; depth; and atmosphere. Most importantly they will learn how to put it all together into a coherent design that says what they want to say without getting lost in details.

SONS OF ORPHEUS - Wednesday, April 13th at 7:00 PM - Tickets: $15 - Founded and led by the distinguished tenor Grayson Hirst, this community-based men’s choral organization is comprised of men from all walks of life. Members include professional musicians, retired businessmen, scholars, teachers, doctors and others. Sons of Orpheus is a not-for-profit organization which provides music scholarships and supports food banks and other numerous community organizations. They have performed with the Balalaika Orchestra, Tucson Chamber Orchestra and the Tucson Boys and Girls Choruses, among others.
