Book of Days Auditions
Auditions for the Santa Cruz Shoestrings Players upcoming production of "Book of Days" by Lanford Wilson are being held September 3 & 4 at 5:00 PM at the Community Performing Arts Center, 1250 W. Continental Road.

November, 2008
Red, Black & White Ball
The Community Performing Arts Center Foundation will be hosting the 2008 Red, White and Black Ball in early November, 2008 at the Center at 1250 W. Continental Road. This gala event will be the Center's major fundraiser for matching the $250,000 Freeport McMoRan Challenge Grant and the successful completion of Phase II. Afternoon activities will begin at 2:00 pm and will include tours of the new 202-seat state-of-the-art theater, entertainment, art exhibits and more. The Ball will begin at 6:00 pm. The evening activities will feature food stations hosted by local restaurants, a specialty wine bar, silent auction and dancing. Tickets will be required and seating is limited. Don't miss this elegant event celebrating the completion of the new theater. Jean Vickets and Berdette Robison will be Co-chairpersons. For more information, please call 399-1750.
