* RON LANCASTER StorytellerRON LANCASTER Storyteller

Time: 7:00 pm

Admission is free (tickets required) Master Storyteller Ron Lancaster will take you on a journey through the art of being human. In tales sometimes daffy, sometimes touching, and very often totally laughable, he will introduce you to a cast of memorable and lovable characters. You will walk away realizing that surely the way to the heart is through the funny bone. Ron Lancaster has been telling stories out of school since he was out of school. He is a veteran of both radio and television with his show called Stories for Grown Ups and he owned two nightclubs called The Storyteller Cafe in Los Angeles, CA and Mesa, AZ where he featured acts from across the globe. His specialties are gentle tales for the heart laced with laughter and deep thought. Ron is a natural comedian and philosopher all rolled into one package.

* GOOD ROCKIN’ LIVE GOOD ROCKIN’ LIVE

Time: 7:00 pm

Tickets: $25 in advance – $30 at door This live concert event pays tribute to the birth of rock and roll and the music legends that Sun Records helped propel to stardom. In 1952, Sun Studios opened up shop in a small storefront in Memphis, TN, setting off a chain of events that would change the course of musical history. In a few short years, this little record company produced superstars such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, and B.B. King. Good Rockin’ Live!, with hits like Great Balls of Fire, Folsom Prison Blues, That’s All Right Mama, and Blue Suede Shoes, tells the tale of how rock was born through the music and stories of those who lived it.
