Kick off your Independence Day weekend with a patriotic celebration in recognition of America’s birthday. Join us as we honor the wonderful men and women who serve our nation both home and abroad. This concert will feature several fantastic tunes which showcase the American Spirit including "Suite of Old American Dances" by Robert Russell Bennett, "Rolling Thunder" by Henry Fillmore, "Children's March" by Percy Grainger, "The Cowboys" by John Williams, works by John Phillip Sousa and some arrangements of famous pieces from our very own members! Complimentary ice cream will be served in the theater lobby from 2:15-3:00pm.

Tickets: $10 in advance - $15 at door Join us for the inaugural season of the Santa Rita Chamber Orchestra conducted by Chris Tackett. Mr Tackett holds a Masters Degree from Indiana University where he studied jazz, composition, conducting and piano. Mr Tackett has performed in theatrical productions for Borderlands Theater and the University of Arizona Repertory Theater in Tucson AZ.

For Students ENTERING Grades 2 - 9 All camp students will be instructed in acting, musical theater, visual art and more. Each course will provide beginners with basic skills and at the same time challenge the more advanced students to improve their own skill sets. Classes will culminate in an open house and performance at the end of the camp. Classes are taught by local professionals who have decades of teaching and performance experience.

* HOT CLUB OF TUCSON Gypsy JazzHOT CLUB OF TUCSON Gypsy Jazz

Time: 7:00 pm

The Hot Club of Tucson, formed in 2004, is comprised of guitarist Matt Mitchell, violinist Nick Coventry and bassist Evan Dain. They released their first CD on June 1, 2014, a compilation of several live concerts. With weekly engagements at Hotel Congress and other venues in southern Arizona along with performances at the national Gypsy Jazz Festival, this band has quickly become a leading force of this genre.
